Lisa "La Boriqua" is President of Latin Street Dancing and Director of the Chicago Latin Street Dance Company and MOSAICO student dance group. In addition to her well known class on the Lakefront, Lisa has made numerous appearances on news features and has been honored for her contributions to Chicago’s Latin culture. Because of her continued work in this area, she is continually invited to teach or perform with her company outside of Chicago.  

The Community Leadership Podcast Series: Innovators in Civic Engagement, supported by the Institute for Policy and Civic Engagement (IPCE), will be featured on CivicSource bi-weekly through July.
