Looking for service opportunities in Chicago this summer? Start by signing up for the Chicago Cares’ 20th Annual Serve-a-thon and spend Saturday, June 15th volunteering to make a direct impact on the city. By registering to volunteer in Chicago’s largest single day of community service in which 5,000 likeminded, passionate residents convene in action, you will serve at one of dozens of project sites across the city and help make Chicago stronger by reinventing neighborhoods, mobilizing and inspiring communities, and restoring hope to areas of the city that need your help. Plus, Chelsea Clinton from the Clinton Foundation will deliver remarks at the opening ceremony in Daley Plaza to kick-off the day-long event.
You can register for the event here. If you can’t make it to the serve-a-thon, there are plenty of other upcoming service opportunities in Chicago. You can check those out here.
